On-Stage Artist Tony Succar Takes the Stage in HartfordJuly 15, 2015
On-Stage endorser Tony Succar is thrilling audiences up and down the east coast with his latest project – UNITY: A Latin Tribute to Michael Jackson. Tony marries American Pop, Jazz, Tropical, and World Music with the celebrated sounds of the King of Pop, weaving an accessible and genre-blending soundscape.
On-Stage is proud to support Tony and UNITY as they perform at The Greater Hartford Jazz Festival this week. The UNITY show is a favorite of On-Stage president Jim Hennessey, who just returned from the band’s July 2nd show at the Olympia Theater in Miami. PBS recorded the Miami performance for an upcoming broadcast, and the band featured percussion legend Sheila E, among others. Now Tony is coming to Hartford, the original home of On-Stage Stands, and the company is turning out to support this great young artist.
“When I met Tony at a trade show a while back, we had a great conversation about a lot of things, including percussion accessories,” recalls Jim Hennessey, “and I guess he was a little surprised that someone my age could have so much energy and enthusiasm about the music industry! Building relationships is my favorite part of the business, and connecting with a talented young guy like Tony is just great. I really look forward to seeing UNITY again in Hartford and encourage everyone to come out and see a show they will never forget.”
Tony Succar and UNITY will be kicking off the festival at Hartford’s Infinity Hall this Thursday, July 16, and again on July 17 at Bushnell Park. Event details are below:
