Hello! My name is Jay VanSchelt. I started with The Music People in 2009 and I am our Customer Service Manager.
My main responsibilities here include I handle all incoming inquiries and processes from customers, end users and sales staff for problems with both On Stage Stand Products and Pro Audio equipment. I manage the interface with manufacturers on replacements and credits as well as overseeing the replacement parts program and several other strategic company projects.
Something interesting that not everyone knows about me is I am an avid player of the bamboo flute and enjoy painting using acrylic, charcoal, graphite and digital mediums. I have also studied Tai Chi and oriental healing arts for over 25 years.
