Tear Down the Wall! ON-STAGE Welcomes Endorsement from Australian Pink Floyd, Becomes Comfortable Choice among Professional Users
10/2/2012 - Berlin, CT.  On-Stage Stands is proud to announce a new artist endorsement from Jason Sawford, keyboardist and founding member of Australian Pink Floyd. Having sold over 3 million tickets in 35 countries, Aussie Floyd is hailed as the finest tribute band in the world. On riders and in their personal kits, a growing number of professional players are comfortable specifying the new batch of pro-level accessories from One-Stage stands. Sawford’s endorsement is the latest in a list of top-notch artists using On-Stage Stands and other TMP branded products.                                                   Reproducing diverse, well-known, and unique Pink Floyd keyboard and synth sounds is one of the trickiest jobs in music. Sawford relies on four keyboards, sound units, samplers, and months of preparation to program each tour, and you’ll find On-Stage Stands supporting much of his impressive kit on the road. Currently on the US leg of the Exposed in the Light world tour, Sawford is relying on some of On-Stage Stands’ toughest products to get through a dense schedule of concerts. Sawford’s On-Stage Stands gear includes the KS7365EJ and KS7350 Pro Heavy-Duty Folding-Z Keyboard Stands, along with the DT8500 Keyboard Throne and several other accessories. Simply put, the KS7365EJ is the strongest stand available from On-Stage Stands. It boasts a 400lb weight capacity plus an integrated second tier, an absolute must for a sophisticated setup like Sawford’s. The KS7365EJ was designed with touring professionals in mind, and much of its development included input from a team of industry pros. The KS7350 shares many of the features of the KS7365EJ but in a single-tier format. Both models are fully height and width adjustable, and both fold down into a compact bundle for easy transport. With a tour schedule punctuated by back-to-back-to-back daily performances, comfort on stage is non-negotiable. Sawford chose the DT8500 throne for the Exposed in the Light tour. Its thickly padded seat and adjustable backrest provide excellent conformity and support, while a wide height adjustment range accommodates any playing style. Integrated footrests add to the overall comfort of this heavy-duty A-frame throne. The combination of portability, real-world features, and durability makes On-Stage Stands pro-level products the choice of Jason Sawford and other touring musicians. On-Stage Stands is already a leader in the entry-level and semi-pro accessories market, and pro-level gear like the KS7365 EJ is just the beginning of a new breed of high-end products from The Music People. TMP is proud to have Aussie Floyd onboard. Stay tuned to the brand new onstagestands.com for more information about the band and their equipment.     The New HotWires Pro Cables! Our Neutrik-equiped models give your customers the whisper-quiet performance they expect in the studio and the road-proof durability they expect on stage. The full line features premium components and production-quality performance characteristics.   The new HotWires Pro IC Series Instrument Cables get every last bit of tone from instrument to amplifier or direct box. The conductor itself is comprised of heavy 20awg high-strand count 99.99% copper wire, and is protected by a thick, highly flexible PVC jacket. Tinned copper braided shielding provides a minimum of 98% coverage at any angle and remains flexible and intact over years of winding.   The new MC Series Microphone Cables utilize 22awg 99.99% copper wire twisted-pair conductors. Resilient 98% braided shielding rejects RF and EM interference for a low noise floor even over very long runs. Superior Neutrik connectors offer superb strain relief, and additional ground contacts ensure safe cable/chassis grounding, essential for customers using phantom power. A Super-Flex outer jacket combines durability and flexibility, lying flat yet coiling easily.   Both series of HotWires Pro cables ship with the award-winning, eye-catching packaging that the company is known for and include hook & loop cable ties as an added feature for your customers.
On-Stage Gear Now shipping New True-Bypass Pedal Tuner
Adding to its line of real gear for working musicians, On-Stage Gear is proud to announce its new True-Bypass Pedal Tuner. Designed to be absolutely transparent in bypass mode, this new Pedal Tuner will not alter tone nor gain structure in any way, allowing its use in the most refined and tweaked guitar rigs. It is the ideal tuner for use with high-end guitar amplifiers.     The True-Bypass Pedal Tuner offers the option of muting output while tuning and passing an unaltered signal while not in use, eliminating the need to put amplifiers in standby mode. It can also be used in a live mode which passes audio while tuning. The True-Bypass Pedal Tuner is fully chromatic and can be calibrated from 436 Hz to 444 Hz via a bright, easy-to-read LED display and fine-tuning meter.     The True-Bypass Pedal Tuner also features a unique Flat mode that acts as a transpose function, allowing up to seven downward half-steps. For example, when set to two half-steps in Flat mode, the display will show an E when the true pitch is a D. This is a handy tool for players who prefer to think in terms of standard tuning even when playing in lower keys.   Constructed of a two-piece diecast aluminum body and utilizing professional all-steel input and output jacks, the True-Bypass Pedal Tuner is built for the rigors of the road. Strategically placed rubber strips prevent slippage on stage floors and a protected 9V battery compartment ensures trouble-free performance. The True-Bypass Pedal Tuner can also be powered via an optional DC power supply.

On-Stage Stands Expands Hang-It Series with New GS8200 ProGrip II Guitar Stands
On-Stage Stands, the leader in innovative instrument support products, introduces its new GS8200 ProGrip II Hang-It Guitar Stand. This pro-level stand joins other models in the Hang-It series like the GS8100 ProGrip Guitar Stand, GS7155 Single Guitar Stand, GS7255 Double Guitar Stand, and GS7355 Triple Guitar stand. Like all Hang-It models, the GS8200 is designed to allow guitars, basses, banjos, and similar instruments to hang securely from their headstocks rather than sitting in a cradle. The Hang-It design is exceptionally stable and especially well suited for long instruments with asymmetrical body styles. Introduced earlier last year, the first generation GS8100 Pro-Grip Stand is equipped with our exclusive patent-pending ProGrip gate system. When placed into the GS8100’s cam-activated yoke, the instrument’s weight closes the padded gates, locking the headstock firmly in place. The instrument stays put even with the vigorous bumping that can occur on crowded stages or in rehearsal studios. The system releases simply by lifting the guitar up and out of the stand. The new GS8200 ProGrip II also utilizes an auto-locking yoke system, but features a spring-loaded gate, allowing for even easier instrument removal. The weight of a guitar draws the spring-loaded yoke arms to pull the gates of the yoke shut, all in one single action. Picking up the guitar opens the gates instantly outward for unobstructed removal. The GS8200 also includes a purple designer cam locking mid-point clutch and reinforced leg housing. Like the GS8100, the GS8200 is lined with soft velveteen rubber at all contact points, specially formulated to avoid marring and/or reacting with instrument finishes. The GS8200’s wide reinforced tripod base supports up to 40lbs, and the yoke height is adjustable from 30” to 43”. Suitable for any style of guitar, bass, or banjo, the GS8200 (List $59.99) provides peace of mind on stage and in the studio. The GS8200 will be available in April. Visit www.onstagestands.com for more information on the GS8200, and all other On-Stage Stands products.
